Temper Tot - Glow By Ron English

Ron English is known for combining expert craftsmanship with a cynical, humorous critique of American culture. English coined the term 'POPaganda' to describe his signature mash-up of high and low cultural touchstones, from superheroes and comic strips, to art-historical iconography. His work includes art prints, billboards, and sculptures. English's iconic 'Temper Tot' returns, this time with glow in the dark qualities to keep you awake all night long (classic toddler behaviour). Based on his earlier piece 'The Incredible Hulk Boy', 'Temper Tot' is an 8" collectable figure, with the ripped body of the Hulk and the head of a baby on the brink of a tantrum. English's satirical sculpture goes to show that toys don't have to be only for the kids (just don't let them know about this one - temper tantrums might ensue…)
