' Bullet Proof' depicts a large, bricolage butterfly, assembled from a series of greyscale illustrations: mechanical workings, Victorian muscle-men, animal skulls, and mythical beasts combine to produce the illusion of the delicate, winged insect. The perfect symmetry of the collage has all the shocking perfection of an ink-blot test, which Not Now Nancy has exaggerated, adding cascading drips of black pigment and hand applied ribbons of copper leaf, which seem to slither down the print in beautiful contrast to the soft sprays of turquoise that complete the monochrome image. Framing Info These prints come individually custom framed in a narrow matt black aluminium boxed frame profiles measuring 5.5mm head on by 35mm in depth with standard glass. The prints are beautifully shadow float mounted onto a backing board within these complementary frames.
