Briefcase By Michael Craig-Martin

Briefcase (Fragment) is one of a series of six works from contemporary artist Michael Craig-Martin. It is a silkscreen print with protective glaze on Somerset Tub Sized Satin 410 gsm from a signed edition of 35. The Fragments series was debuted at Art Basel 2015 and is a development of Michael Craig-Martin's ongoing print series 'Objects of our Time'. These prints zoom in obscuring the everyday objects that are their subjects. The simplified forms and vivid use of colour further encourage the viewer to think more about the everyday design and technology objects featured in the prints.
